Peter S. Gill, MD, FACS

Dr. Peter Gill earned his degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed his surgical residency at the National Naval Medical Center. Dr. Gill was the pioneer in laparoscopic hernia surgery in Rhode Island. He started the first dedicated Hernia Center in New England, specializing in all types of abdominal wall defects, and advanced abdominal wall reconstruction utilizing minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Gill is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. His interests include robotic surgery, laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, and surgical oncology.

He and his wife enjoy travelling, hiking, trail running, Nordic skiing and visiting their grown children.
